Defect Analysis and Process Improvement of Precision Forging Gear Billet

摘要 分析了高速镦锻机生产的齿轮坯的折叠缺陷。利用DEFORM-3D软件对原始热锻工艺进行了数值模拟,分析了镦粗、预锻的折叠角、温度和等效应变。结果表明:折叠缺陷是坯料高径比太大、锻压速度过低引起的。通过改进工艺参数,模拟和实验均获得了无缺陷齿轮坯。 The folding defects of gear billet produced by high-speed forging machine were analyzed. The original hot forging process was numerically simulated by using finite element DEFORM 3D software. The upsetting, the folding angle of preforging, temperature and effective strain were analyzed. The results show that the folding defects are caused by too big height and diameter ratio of the blank and too low forging speed. By improving process parameters, gear billets without defects were obtained in simulations and experiments.
