摘要
近30年来,海外"汉学"/"中国学"研究成为了中国学术界的研究热点,其学科名称却至今论争纷纭,尚无定论,而有关其称谓的辨异持续到今天已经形成了一个不可忽视的学术现象。通过整理、辨析相关论文与著作,可将其概括为三个论题:一是"汉学"与"中国学"不同称谓的历史溯源;二是不同辨名观点的交锋;三是对于辨名论争现象的分析。反思这一辨名论争,可以为学科的建制与研究的自觉提供一些可资借鉴的思想资源。"走向新汉学"的建构是解决上述争议的可能出路。
＂Sinology＂ or ＂China Studies＂ has been a hot topic in Chinese academic world in the last three decades,while the choice of term has also been a hot topic of debate. Related articles and books on this terminology debate focus mainly on three aspects：the historical origins of the two different terms, the conflicting viewpoints on the two terms ,and analysis on the debate.A reflection on the debate provides a referential ideological resource for the organizational structure of the subject and the consciousness of related research.A possible solution of this debate is constructing ＂Neo-Sinology＂.
