摘要
戏剧的二元性本质使戏剧翻译与其他文学翻译有很大不同。在戏剧翻译中,译者处理特殊语言或文化现象时应采用何种策略一直是让他们左右为难的问题。文章从关联理论的视角出发,通过对比分析一些戏剧作品中的英汉译文实例,探讨关联理论对戏剧翻译的解释,提出该理论指导下的戏剧翻译原则。
There are lots of differences between drama translation and literary translation because of the dualistic na -ture of drama.When conducting drama translation practice ,the translator is found to be in a dilemma as for what strategy should be adopted to cope with text with specific linguistic or cultural features .By analyzing examples from some dramas based on relevance theory ,the author tries to explore the explanatory power of relevance theory to dra-ma translation and the principles of drama translation under the guide of the theory .
