摘要
论文在Werlich文本语法的基础上,试图构建一个适用于博物馆概况英译的平行文本比较模式。论文对比分析了中英文博物馆概况在文本惯例上的特点,并藉此探讨了英译中国博物馆概况所获得的若干启示。通过对平行文本的对比分析,论文提出了英译中国博物馆概况时可采用某些变通翻译策略并配以例子予以分析。
Based on Werlich＇ s text grammar, the paper proposes a mode for comparing parallel texts for the translation of Chinese museum overviews. The paper analyzes the characteristics of Chinese and English museum overviews in textual conventions and discusses the implications for the translation of Chinese museum overviews. Based on the comparison and analysis of the parallel texts, the paper poses some flexible translation strategies that the translators may adopt when translating the Chinese museum overviews into English and illustrates them with some examples.
