摘要
大力培养学生的综合职业能力是高职教育的宗旨。就学生的职业能力、工作表现、各项职业能力的重要性、提升职业能力的有效方法以及技能竞赛形式等方面,当前广东省100多家企业及其内部刚入职的毕业生和毕业生的职业导师认为,在高职英语专业职业技能竞赛及职业能力培养中存在不少问题。包括学生最缺乏专业技能与沟通能力,职业技能竞赛的普及性和形式都亟待改善等。应该采取将职业技能竞赛纳入高职英语专业职业能力社会评价体系,提高企业的竞赛参与度,改善技能竞赛的形式等具体措施加以应对。
Cultivating students＇ comprehensive professional competence is the aim of higher vocational education. A survey is conducted among the staff, the newly-employed graduates and their mentors in more than one hundred companies in Guangdong Province. Their comments on students＇ professional competence, work performance, the importance of different abilities, the way of improving the abilities, and the form of occupational skill competition prove that a lot of problems exist in current occupational skill competitions and higher vocational education. Therefore, a series of measures such as bringing the competitions into the evaluation system, enterprises＇ participating more in competitions and improving the forms of competition should be taken.
