摘要
晚清知识分子在引进西学的过程中受到中国主流传统文化儒家思想的影响,《佐治刍言》在翻译过程中,包涵儒家思想的词句取代了原作中的政治经济学概念。"science","society"和"nature"的翻译中分别体现出了儒家格物致知、修齐治平和存理灭欲的思想。
The talents in the late Qing Dynasty have been influenced by Confucianism ,China’s main stream ideology ,in their introduction of western cultures .In the translation of Homely Words to A id Governance ,words and sentences invol-ving Confucianism have been used to replace political and economic concepts in the original work .The translation of words“science”,“society”and“nature”reflects Confucian ideology of well-doing ,cultivating oneself ,regulating the home ,ruling the country ,achieving peace in the world ,and human desires .
