摘要
叶芝诗歌中有不少关于空间的隐喻,"爱尔兰风景"和"大房子"成为诗人表达自己对于民族和家园的认知和期待的工具。论文运用空间理论来分析叶芝晚期诗歌《塔堡》,探索诗人是如何通过对"塔堡"这一空间的想象来完成他对家园和民族的重建的。
W.B.Yeatssense of landscape,particularly his sense of'the big-house'is inevitably linked to his understanding,expectation and reconstruction of his home and nation.The essay tries to implement spatial analysis to discuss his late poem'The Tower'so as to find how the poet expresses his insights to his home and his hope for the national revival by employing the resourceful place.
