摘要
衔接作为译者普遍接受的翻译策略在20世纪70年代以来得到迅速发展,关于文本的衔接方式翻译家们提出了自己的理论观点,并将衔接视为连贯方式的基本手段。而在这一领域做出突出贡献的当属蒙娜·贝克女士,本文将对蒙娜·贝克在她的著作《换言之:翻译教程》中所描述的衔接理论进行理据例句分析。
Cohesion has become well studied and accepted as a translation strategy in 1970s. Most translation theorists built or developed their theories in cohesion and studied it as the fundamental way to achieve coherence in discourse. Of all the theorists, Mona Baker was accepted as one of the most contributive one. This article will be a summarization of her cohesion theory described in one of her most influential book In Other worcls：A Course Book on Translation in the hope that it would generate more public discussion.
