摘要
高水平民族大学建设既要体现国际国内大致公认的一流大学的共同特质,更要彰显其作为"我国培养少数民族高素质人才的重要基地,研究我国民族理论和民族政策的重要基地,传承和弘扬各民族优秀文化的重要基地,展示我国民族政策和对外交往的重要窗口"的特质。建设高水平民族大学,要围绕国家发展大局,紧扣民族工作主题,立足民族地区实际,把握发展战略重点,突出民族特色,提高核心竞争能力。
When constructing the high-level universities for nationalities, it should pos- sess the generally accepted connotations of the first-class universities, as well as embody the characteristics that＂they are the base of cultivating high-quality talents for minorities, stud-ying ethnic theories and policies, carrying forward the excellent ethnic culture, and a show- piece for exhibiting Chinese ethnic policies and foreign exchanges＂. In constructing the high-level universities for nationalities, it is necessary to center on the national development, stick to the topics of the ethnic affairs, keep a foothold on ethnic areas practice, grasp the strate-gic focuses, highlight the ethnic feature, and promote their core competitive ability.
