摘要
中外合作办学是我国改革开放以来在国际教育交流与合作领域出现的新生事物。宁波诺丁汉大学是由英国诺丁汉大学与浙江万里学院合作创办的中国第一家引进世界一流大学、并具有独立法人资格和独立校区的中外合作大学。本文以宁波诺丁汉大学为例,对中外合作办学的新机制进行了案例分析。事实证明,通过实质性地引进国外的优质教育资源,中外合作办学机构可以迅速提升办学档次和水平。宁波诺丁汉大学的运作机制具有创新性和重要启迪意义。
Sino-Foreign School-Running Cooperation is a newly-born business in the field of exchange and cooperation of education internationally. Ningbo-Nottingham University is founded cooperatively by Nottingham University in Britain and Zhejiang Wanli College in China, which has introduced firstly the top university of the world into China, and which has the qualification of the independence corporation and own campus. Ningbo-Nottingham University is taken a case in this paper to analyze the new mechanism of Sino-Foreign School-Running Cooperation. It is proved that the cooperative institution would be im- proved rapidly in level by bringing in education resources of high quality from foreign countries substantially. The operation mechanism of Ningbo-Nottingham University is creative and edificatory.
