本研究通过大量实验,合成了一种电镀装饰铬的添加剂DCA-1。在镀铬电解液中加入5~7g/L DCA-1添加剂后,可以在CrO_3含量为150~200g/L,操作温度为25~30℃条件下得到镜面光泽的镀层。与标准镀铬电解液相比,该电解液具有较高的阴极电流效率(当D_k=20A/dm^2时,比标准镀铬的阴极电流效率提高了51%);分散能力比标准镀铬电解液提高了73%;深镀能力比标准镀铬电解液提高了2.8倍。镀层性能测试结果表明,该镀层具有较高的硬度,较好的耐磨性,镀层光泽度高、内应力低,镀层厚度在2μm以下时没出现裂纹。综上所述,以DCA-1为添加剂的电镀装饰铬具有以下特点:(1)电解液的CrO_3浓度较低、操作温度低,这不仅降低了生产成本,而且减轻了Cr^(6+)对环境的污染。(2)电解液的阴极电流效率较高,有较好的分散能力和极好的深镀能力,适于镀复形状较复杂的零件。(3)镀层光泽度高、内应力低、耐磨性好,适于作防护装-饰性镀层的表层。
An additive, DCA-1, for decorative chromium plating was synthesized successfully through a large number of experiments。Mirror-like finish can be obtained in a chromium plating bath containing CrO_3150—200g/L and the DCA1 additive 5—7g/L and operating at 25—30℃。Current efficiency of the bath is higher than that of the standard chromium plating bath(by 51% higher than that of the standard bath at D_k=20 A/dm^2). Throwing and covering powers of the bath are increased by73% and 2.8 times respectively as compared with those of the standard chromium platng bath. Results of property testing of chromium coating obtained with the DCA-1 technology show that the coating possesses higher hardness and wear resistance and exhibits high lustre, low internal stress and without cracking below 2μm thick of the coating. The decorative chromium plating technology with DCA-1 additive has the following characteristics; (1)low CrO_3 concentration of bathand low operation temperature, leading to the reduction of production cost and Cr contamination to the environment, (2)high cathodic current efficiency, good throwing power and excellent covering power, suitable for plating complex shape articles and (3)high lustre, low stress and good wear resistance, suitable for use as the top coating of the protective—decorative combination coatings.
