摘要
1950年召开的英模表彰大会,不仅是新中国召开的第一次全国性的表彰与奖励大会,同时也是一场盛大的政治检阅与革命总结活动,具有继往开来的历史特征与时代意义。此次大会从筹备、召开直至最终闭幕,始终洋溢着革命英雄主义精神。尤为重要的是,以本次大会为契机,在彰显新制度、新观念、新价值的同时,也使得国家的英模表彰活动逐步走向程序化、制度化和常态化。此外,作为民众优秀代表的英模们在国家政治生活中最大限度地发挥着他们不可替代的政治作用。
The National Commendation Conference of Heroes and Model Workers in 1950 was not only the new China’s first national commendation and awarding conference,but also a grand political review and revolutionary summingup event with the history characteristics and times significance pioneered by the predecessors that had ushered in a new era.The preparation,opening till final closing of conference was filled with the spirit of revolutionary heroism. More importantly,with the conference as a pivot,highlighting the new system,new concepts and new value,the conference also made the national commendation and awarding activities of heroes and model workers gradually move towards programmed,institutionalized and normalized. In addition,as the outstanding representatives of the people,the heroes and model workers played their irreplaceable role to a maximum in the political life of the country.
