摘要
广大海外侨胞是中国的独特资源,是中国发展的"友好使者"和"重要桥梁"。他们通过华文教育、华文传媒和华侨社团传递和扩散中华文化,增强了中国与其他国家的相互理解,加深了中外人民之间的友谊,增强了海外侨胞的民族认同感和凝聚力,有利于华侨华人更好地融入住在国主流社会,有利于中华民族的伟大复兴。
The large amount of overseas Chinese are a unique resource of China, serving as messengers of friendship and important bridges. By teaching Chinese, relying on news press, and organizing societies, they have enhanced the mutual understanding of China and other countries, enhanced the friendship between Chinese and other peoples, and consolidated the national identity and cohesion of overseas Chinese. All this is helpful for them to fit into the mainstream society of foreign countries and is contributable to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
