摘要
独立学院作为高等教育的重要组成部分,为高等教育的发展注入了活力。独立学院不仅仅是本科院校,更是培养应用型人才的本科院校,是服务地方的本科院校。独立学院应将打造应用型本科院校作为战略目标,将培养应用型本科人才作为核心目标与首要任务。
The independent colleges, as an important part of higher education, takes up the historical mission of the popularization of higher education in China. Through 14 years of trials and hardships, how to accurately determine the strategic positioning in the macroscopic system of higher education has become a major concern of their sustainable development that the independent colleges need to face. Proceeding from the development history of higher education and Chinese characteristics of the independent colleges, this paper explores in depth the inevitability, core elements and measures of independent colleges building applied undergraduate institutes.
