摘要
音译是把一种语言文本转换成另一种语言文本的翻译方法,它保留源语读音而不传达源语意义。一方面它增加目标语词汇量,实现功能对等,更精确地避免歧义,在目标语文化中保持源语文化特色;另一方面,使用音译时会造成源语文化的缺失,降低了译文的可读性。合理使用音译法,可更好地进行国际文化交流。
Transliteration is a translation method of converting a text from one language into another which maintains its original pronunciation but not convey its original meaning.On one hand,transliteration enlarges the vocabulary of the target language,makes translation functional equivalence and more accurately avoids misinterpretation so as to keep the uniqueness of the source language culture.On the other hand,transliteration will cause loss of the source language culture and reduce the readability of its version.This article also proposes reasonable adoption of transliteration so as to better people＇s international cultural communication.
