摘要
为了解临床医学专业学生专业英语学习的现状,学习动机、态度,对专业英语具体技能的学习需求,以及对专业英语课程的需求,以便改革医学专业英语教学课程设置,选择北京大学医学部2007级~2011级八年制临床医学专业714名学生进行了问卷调查。调查结果显示,学生学习专业英语的动机非常明确,但是学习动力不强;他们对于专业英语阅读、听力、口语、写作的需求十分迫切,但是对于专业英语翻译技能提高的需求不是很高;此外,学生对于医学英语课程的教学模式也都有明显的偏好。
In order to find the best way to reform medical English teaching, the authors carried out a questionnaire investigation in 714 clinical medicine-major undergraduates on their needs of medical English learning . The needs analysis shows that these clinical medicine college students have a clear purpose for medical English learning but are weakly motivated for medical English learning; they have a stronger need to improve their reading, listening, speaking, and writing ability in medical English but a weaker one for translation. They have also shown preferences for different aspects in the teaching set-up of the medical English course.
