摘要
美国大学的公民教育已有200多年的历史。在不同的历史时期以及社会发展背景下,美国大学公民教育的价值取向在个体性与社会性、个人价值与社会价值之间不断进行着此消彼长的转化。进入21世纪以来,美国大学公民教育的价值取向呈现出个人价值与社会价值整合、生存主义与人文主义统一、传统与现代相融合的基本特征。美国大学公民教育的实践模式也日趋多元化,主要包括:基于"学校—课程"框架的系统化教育模式、基于"社会—组织"资源的社会行动模式和基于"自愿—服务"的社会主动参与模式。
The citizenship education of American universities has a history of more than 200 years. In different historical periods and social developmental context,the values of American university shift between individuality and social, personal value and social value Since the beginning of the 21st century,the values of American university present such basic characteristics as the integration of personal values and social values,survival and humanism unified,the integration of traditional value and modern one. The practice pattems of American university have become more diversified,including systematic educational model based on the framework of the ＂school- curriculum＂ ,social action model based on＂society - organization of resources＂ and the social initiative participation pattern based on the ＂voluntary -service＂.
