RORα对脂肪细胞分化和脂类代谢的调控

Regulation of RORα on adipocyte differentiation and lipid metabolism

摘要 RORα(retinoid acid receptor related orphan receptorα)是维甲酸相关孤核受体家族RORs的一员,其家族还有另外2个成员,即RORβ和RORγ。RORα基因具有多种生物学功能,能够参与多种重要的体内生理代谢过程,如增强机体的胰岛素敏感性,调节体内糖脂平衡等,尤其在脂肪生成、分化等多方面起重要作用,成为目前研究的热点。因此,随着近年来对RORα基因越来越多的研究,提示RORα基因有望成为治疗动物体脂沉积及人类肥胖相关疾病的一个靶点。文章从RORα基因的结构、配体及表达等方面讨论了其与脂肪代谢调控的关系。 The orphan nuclear receptor BORer ( RAR- related orphan receptor alpha) is one member of the ROBs family of retinoid - related or- phan nuclear receptor, there are also two other members in this family: RORβ and RORγ. The RORα gene with a variety of biological func- tions, can involve in a variety of important physiological processes in vivo, such as enhancing body's insulin sensitivity, regulating glucose - lip- id balance in the body, and it plays an important role especially in adipogenesis, adipocyte differentiation, and other aspects, and becomes the focus of current research. Therefore, with more and more research on the BORα gene in recent years,it is prompted that RORα gene is expected to become a therapeutic target for the treatments in body fat deposition in animals and obesity - related diseases in human. This paper discusses the relationship between RORα gene and regulation of fat metabolism based on its stna.ture,ligands and expression.
