Application of Numerical Simulation in Casting Process Optimization of Nodular Iron Axle Housing

摘要 对树脂砂型铸造球墨铸铁叉车后桥壳的铸造工艺进行了设计,并采用华铸CAE软件对其充型和凝固过程进行了模拟,分析了铸件产生缩孔的原因。根据缺陷产生的模拟分析结果,对工艺方案进行了改进和调整。通过放置冷铁和出气孔,使铸件实现顺序凝固,从而消除缩孔缺陷,获得健全无缺陷的后桥壳铸件。 The reasonable casting process of nodular iron rear axle housing in forklift was designed, and the filling process and solidification process were simulated by numerical simulation software InteCAST, the main reasons for shrinkage cavity in the designed casting process were analyzed. Based on the simulation results of the defects, the optimum program of the casting process for nodular iron rear axle housing was put forward. The shrinkage cavity defects were eliminated by placing cold iron and vents to ensure directional solidification, and the defects-free rear axle housing castings were obtained.
