摘要
《论语》对中华民族的思想和文化产生了深远影响,它本身也成为国外翻译和诠释最多的典籍之一。迄今为止共产生了约六十个《论语》英语全译本或节译本。对中外《论语》英译研究成果进行系统客观地分析与总结,能有力推进《论语》等中国典籍外译及其研究向纵深发展。
The Analects has greatly influenced the thoughts and culture of the Chinese people. It itself is one of the ancient classics which is being translated and explored by people most frequently abroad. Up to now, there are about sixty complete English versions or abridged versions of The Analccts. A systematic and objective categoriza- tion, analysis and summary of the research results about translating The Analects will advance the research in depth and breadth.
