Multi - profession healthcare team is that team members from at least two heahhcare professions work together for the common purpose. Studies have noted associations between effective teamwork and improve- ments in quality of care, and reductions in medical errors. Teamwork in healtheare can be appreciated by patients, positively influences their satisfaction, and augments provider satisfaction. Furthermore, collaborative professional relationships may decrease burnout among healthcare providers. The theoretical basis of multi - profession health- care team building includes team KSAs eompetencies, Crew Resource Management (CRM) and Four Stages of Team Development. Team KSAs competencies are mainly used for assessing team performance, and building the content of team training. Crew Resource Management is mainly used as a teamwork model, and also can be used to construct the content of team training.
