摘要
全球本地化的发展趋势要求各国在学习西方发达国家文明的同时,也把本国的优秀传统文化全球化,因此,大学英语教材的编写要符合跨文化交际能力的培养。另一方面,改革开放三十多年来,外语研究者对英汉语言和文化比较等方面的研究成果很少体现在大学英语的教材中。大学英语教材应该具有学术思想,教材应该反映学科领域的发展状况。本文尝试从英汉语言和文化比较的角度,对新型大学英语教材进行具体的描述。
Glocalization ( Global localization) development trend requires the developing countries to do globalization of their traditional cultures while studying the civilization of developed countries. College English teaching materials must conform to cultivation of intercultural communication competence. On the other hand, the research results concerning English and Chinese language and cultural comparison are rarely reflected in college English textbooks. College English teaching should have academic thoughts and the teaching materials should reflect the development of the discipline. This paper proposes a framework for a comparative reader for college students.
