摘要
在文化全球化背景下,我国大学英语教材的文化定位应当遵循《大学英语课程教学要求》和多元文化教育理论,隶属国际目的语文化教材的范畴。但是研究发现,当前大学英语教材中的文化选择与配置同大学英语教材的文化定位处于一种相悖状态,存在着诸如英美文化取向突出,本土文化、非英语国家文化边缘化和比较文化缺失等问题,而灵活设计和配置多元文化、恰当展示和弘扬本土文化、注重培育和发展建构性文化则是改进大学英语教材文化设计的具体举措。
Against the background of cultural globalization,the cultural factors of College English textbooks should be orientated in accordance with the College English Curriculum Requirementsand the theory of multicultural education,belonging to international target language materials.As the research indicates,the current cultural selection and configuration of College English textbooks is not in conformity with cultural orientation,with the problems of too much orientation in Anglo-American culture,marginalization of local culture and non-English country culture and absence of cultural comparison.Flexible design and configuration of multi-cultures,proper display and propagation of local culture,cultivation and development of constructive culture are the ways to improve the culture design for College English textbooks.
