干细胞因子HIWI在食管鳞癌中的表达及其与临床预后的关系 被引量:2

摘要 检测干细胞因子HIWI在食管鳞癌组织中的表达情况,分析其表达与临床病理及预后的关系,为食管癌的早期诊断和预后提供理论依据。方法:采用免疫组织化学法检测HIWI在153例食管鳞癌组织中的表达情况,并结合食管鳞癌患者10年随访资料,分析其表达与临床病理及预后的关系。结果:免疫组织化学结果显示,HIWI食管鳞癌细胞胞质和胞核中均有表达,其在食管鳞癌细胞胞浆的表达水平与肿瘤的浸润深度(P=O.035,X2=8.589)和组织学分级(P=O.011,X2=9.075)呈正相关。Ka-plan-Meier生存分析显示,肿瘤细胞胞质高表达HIWI的患者的总生存情况明显差于胞浆低表达HIWI的患者(P〈0.001,X2=17.05)。结论:干细胞因子HIWI在食管鳞癌细胞中有不同程度的表达,且其在胞质中的表达水平是影响食管鳞癌预后的独立因素。 Objective: To investigate the expression pattern of stem cell factor HIWI and the significance of this pattern in the diag- nosis and prognosis of human esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Methods: The expression of HIWI in 153 esophageal squa- mous cell carcinoma specimens was characterized using immunohistochemistry. The correlations between the clinicopathological fea- tures and the expression of HIWI in esophageal squamous cancer were analyzed using crosstabs analysis. The survival curve regarding the expression of HIWI was analyzed using the Kaplan-Meier method. Results: HIWI immunoreactivity was observed in both the nu- cleus and cytoplasm of the ESCC. The expression level of HIWI in the cytoplasm was significantly associated with the histological grade (P=0.011, X2=9.075) and the T stage (P=0,035, )X2=8.589). Patients with high HIWI expression tumors had poorer overall survival than those with low cytoplasmic expression tumors (P 〈 0.001, X2=17.05). Conclusion: Higher cytoplasmic expression levels of stem cell factor HIWI in esophageal squamous carcinoma were significantly associated with higher histological grade and T stage, as well as poorer overall survival of the patients, making HIWI in cytoplasm an independent prognostic factor for survival.
