摘要
以水稻种胚脂肪氧化酶LOX2缺失突变体1297分别与LOX2活性正常的9311和日本晴杂交,构建F2群体,测定F2群体种胚LOX2活性,对其进行遗传分析和基因定位。结果表明:水稻种胚低LOX2活性是受1对单基因控制的隐性性状,LOX2基因被定位于第3染色体上SSR标记RM1022和RM7197之间,距两者的遗传距离分别为4.4和7.9 cM。水稻种胚LOX2活性与人工老化处理20 d后的老化指数呈显著正相关,LOX2活性低的种子较耐储藏。
1297, a null LOX2 mutant in rice, was crossed with 9311 and Nipponbare, two rice varieties with nor- mal LOX2 activity, to constitute two F2 populations for testing the LOX2 activity in embryo of single plants to under- stand its inheritance and gene mapping. The results showed that the low LOX2 activity in embryo was controlled by one pair of recessive genes, and the LOX2 gene was mapped between SSR markers RM1022 and RM7197 on Chro- mosome 3 with a genetic distance of 4.4 and 7.9 cM to the flanking markers, respectively. There existed a signifi- cant positive correlation between the LOX2 activity in embryo and the aging index of the single plants in the F2 pop- ulation of 1297/Nipponbare after 20 days of aging treatment, indicating that the seed with lower LOX2 activity would have a better storability.
