摘要
基于DMD(数字微镜阵列)的红外目标模拟器是利用DMD反射调制入射的红外辐射,在实验室内模拟真实目标和背景的红外成像,对红外探测和传感设备进行性能测试和评估。介绍了基于DMD的红外目标模拟器的整体结构,阐述了DMD的工作原理,分析了分光系统的设计思想。为了解决照明系统和投影系统结构容易发生重叠的问题,设计了分光棱镜将DMD的照明光束和由DMD反射的投影光束分离开,并用ZEMAX对分光棱镜进行了优化和模拟,设计结果符合使用要求。
Infrared target simulator based on digital-mirror device(DMD) modulates the incident infrared radiation by using the DMD reflection. It simulates the target and background infrared images in the laboratory in order to test and evaluate the performance of the infrared system. The paper introduces the overall structure of the infrared target simu- lator,the operation principle of DMD and the design of the optical splitting system. In order to solve the overlap prob- lem between the illumination system and the projection system, the paper designs a splitter prism which seperate the DMD illumination beam from the projection beam reflected by the DMD. Using the ZEMAX, the scheme is simulated and optimized. The results show that the performance of the system conforms to the requirements.
