加速器质谱^(129)I分析及其在环境、地质研究中的应用 被引量:1

ANALYSIS OF ^(129)I USING ACCELERATOR MASS SPECTROMETRY AND ITS APPLICATION TO ENVIRONMENTAL AND GEOLOGICAL STUDIES

摘要 文章简要介绍了我们研究组近3年在^(129)I加速器质谱应用和分析方法方面的部分研究结果。测定了核前黄土样品中^(129)I水平,为地质定年的探索奠定了一定的基础;通过抽样分析检测了我国某核电站核环境安全的状况,结果表明当前它与大气沉降的本底水平一致,环境是安全可靠的;建立了水样、土壤、植物等不同类型样品中碘的分离、制备以及^(129)I加速器质谱测试方法,尤其对无载体微量碘分离、制备和其中^(129)I测量进行了探索,解决了超痕量碘样品的制备难题;此外,对实验用的试剂以及食用碘盐等进行了检验,示踪了不同来源的碘,为数据的可靠和问题的分析提供了保障。结果显示,^(129)I既是一个地质、环境示踪的有效工具,又具有定年的潜力和广阔的应用前景。 The authors briefly reported some results of ^129I applications to the environmental and geological studies and progress of ^129I analytical method in the past 3 years. A level of ^129I in the pre-nuclear loess samples was measured, which provided a useful data for establishing a dating tool using ^129I; determination of ^129I in some environmental samples surrounding a nuclear power plant in China showed a similar ^129I concentration as the fallout background level, indicating its safety status in the surrounding environment of the nuclear power plant ; a series methods for separation and preparation of iodine from various samples,i, e. water, soil and plants for measurement of ^129I by AMS were established in our lab, in particularly, a "carrier free iodine" method for separation of iodine from low iodine samples and AMS measurement of ^129I was newly developed, in order to solve the problem on preparation and measurement of ultra-low level ^129I in low iodine concentration samples. Moreover, the test-check of ^129I has been carried out in iodine reagents and iodized salt, the results show that the reagents reflect different ^129I/^127I values which indicate different sources of iodine in these samples,the low ^129I in the iodine reagents is important as a quality control before the reagents were chosen for the lab work. The above work indicates that ^129I is not only an effective tool for environmental tracing, but also with a potential in geological dating
