摘要
生成语法研究的理论意义首先在于它很好地解释了语言认识论中的两个悖论:刺激匮乏悖论和语言翻译悖论;其次,生物语言学框架下的生成语法研究揭示了语言器官与生俱来的两个基本属性:递归性与结构性。生成语言学对包括外语教学和对外汉语教学在内的语言教学同样会引发深刻的范式转变。
The theoretical significance of generative grammar research lies in that it first provides good explanations to the two paradoxes in linguistic epistemology: the paradox of poverty of stimulus and the paradox of translation. Secondly, under the framework of biolinguistics, the study reveals the two fundamental inherent properties of the language organ: recursiveness and hierarchy. Generative linguistics will also lead to a profound paradigm shift in language teaching including foreign language teaching and teaching Chinese as a foreign language.
