摘要
词块理论在当今学界中越来越受重视,成了很多研究者研究的话题,虽然在词块的定义、分类方面研究者们还没有达成一致,但词块在英语学习者学习及教师的教学过程中发挥了举足轻重的作用。词块作为语言记忆单位储存在大脑里的预制短语,可以提高学习者使用语言的效率和准确性,减轻学生对句法分析和逐词辨认的负担。
Lexical chunk theory has been receiving more and more attention and has become an important hot topic among researchers.Although no agreement has been reached on the definition and classification of lexical chunk,it plays a crucial role in English learning and teaching.Lexical chunks are prefabricated phrases which are stored in one＇s memory as language units.They can not only improve the learners＇ language efficiency and accuracy,but also release their burden of analyzing the syntax and recognizing the phrases or sentences word by word.
