摘要
通过分析120篇英语专业学习者英语作文组成的观察语料,本文从词频广度、词汇多样性、主题词比较以及单词拼写错误等四个方面描述了受试者产出性词汇能力发展的概貌。研究发现学习者在产出性词汇能力发展进程中存有四个方面的主要问题,即词频范围狭窄、词汇多样性水平低、过多使用意义宽泛词汇以及对词形知识掌握不理想等。针对这些问题,本文推荐在具体教学实践中可采取大量阅读与写作训练、强调对词形知识的掌握等应对策略。

features,and word misspellings.It demonstrates that English learners' lexical frequency breadth in the present study is fairly narrow,and they rely heavily on high-frequency words in their writings.What's more,learners' word variation is less than that of native speakers.They overused high-frequency general words and underused definite articles,prepositions,and conjunctions as well as the modal verbs with complex usage.The paper finally provides some tentative strategies for teaching words and learning practice.
