CFG:A New Model of Teacher Professional Development——An Example of ELT Teacher Education Research in Vietnam

摘要 教师是课程改革成败的关键因素。提高教师专业素养,探索教师专业发展有效途径,是课程改革重要内容之一。CFG是创建于美国的一种教师专业发展模式,在美国已广泛应用于教师教育等专业化培养领域。本文以一项在越南实施的CFG研究为例,探讨其在教师专业发展中的作用和成效,得出CFG能为像越南这样的亚洲国家的教师专业发展提供成功的案例,并为我国教师专业发展探究带来启示。 Teacher is a crucial factor in New Curriculum Changes.Improving teachers' professionalism in exploring effective methods of teacher professional development is one of the key focuses in the curriculum reform.CFG was founded in America and has been widely used in professional fields as a model of teacher professional development.This paper is an investigation into CFG in Vietnam as an example,exploring the effect of CFG in teacher professional development and comes to the conclusion that CFG can offer a successful case for teacher professional development in an Asian country like Vietnam as well as experiences and insights into China's education practice.
