摘要
分析国内外农业现代化进程中出现的资源、生态与环境问题的基础上，指出“提高农业生产力，满足当代人口对粮食和纤维不断增长的需求”与“改善环境质量，恢复生态平衡，为人类的子孙后代提供良好的生存发展条件”应是中国农业现代化的两个基本的目标，２１
Based on the analysis of the problems in natural resources,ecology and environment in the process of worldwide agricultural modernization, the author pointed out that the two basic targets of agricultural modernization of China should be as follows:①“increase agriculture productivity to meet the progressive increase of the needs for the present generation on food and fiber”;②“improve environmental quality, and resume ecological balance so as to provide a comfortable environment for the existence and development of the next generation. Agriculture in the 21st century of China should be along the way of efficient and sustainable development.
