美国地方高校人才培养模式分析——以美国北卡罗莱纳大学彭布罗克校区为例 被引量:7

摘要 美国地方高校把人才培养目标定位为培养富有成就的专业人员和优秀的社会公民。其专业培养方案主要包括通识教育课程与专业教育课程两部分,专业教育培养方案与我国同层次专业教育培养方案相似,一般包括学科基础、专业必修和技术选修三部分,但其通识教育培养方案内容则比我国同层次高校的基础平台方案丰富得多,强调的是培养学生成为合格公民和全人的办学理念。 The goal of American local colleges and universities is to cultivate and train professionals who in future career can make achievements and excel themselves as qualified citizens for the society.The education scheme usually consists of two parts:general education program and specialized program.Specialized program,which encompasses not only basics and required courses for a certain major but also technical elective courses,is similar to the training model at most local Chinese colleges and universities.However,a closer examination reveals that general education program at American universities,which focuses on fostering students into qualified citizens and conforms to America’s whole-person concept in education,contains much more varied and richer contents that its Chinese counterpart—Basic Platform in students cultivation and training scheme at Chinese colleges and universities.
