摘要
当今信息时代的中国出现了一代中学生＂数字原住民＂。对于他们,传统的讲授式教学即使在令人神往的大学讲堂也失去了其应有的魅力。全球化决定了社会对英语教师以外的应用型工程英语人才的新需求。本文从目前不能与时俱进的英语教学,英语人才新需求实际和某些国际知名大学的CDIO教学模式改革分析了CDIO模式对工科英语教学的启示。
A huge number of the ＂digital generation＂,high school students,have appeared in today＇s information era.The traditional lecture-style teaching has lost its glamor to them even in the fascinating university lecture halls.Globalization has proposed new demands of the society for English language talents.By looking at the outdated teaching and the practical needs for English,this paper tries to prove that there is a possible enlightenment by the CDIO teaching mode,an ongoing reform of famous universities,for a change of the English teaching for engineering majors.
