Using the method of fluorescence, the binding constants of ciprofloxacin(CPFX)Mg()and CPFXcalf thymus DNA(C. T. DNA), the formed quantity and the forming condition of ternary complex of CPFXMg()C.T.DNA have been determined. Adding Mg() to the binary system of CPFX with C.T.DNA, the binding quantity of CPFX with C.T.DNA increases to the largest, then decrease up to zero in the end as the increase of the concentration of Mg(). The result shows the amount of CPFX bound to C.T.DNA is modulated by Mg(), and in the concentration of Mg() precented in eucaryotic organism cytoplasm, CPFX has no obvious combination with C. T. DNA.
