摘要
科技英语作为一种独立的文体,以其独特的语言风格,它在现代英语文体中应当占有一席之地。在科学技术飞速发展、国际交流日益频繁的今天,加强对英语科技文体的研究,对理工科院校英语教材的编写和科技英语的教学具有十分重要的现实意义。本文主要从词汇特点和语法特点两方面就科技英语语篇的语言特点作一番尝试性的探索。
EST（English for science and technology）, as a type of independent discourse should play its own role in modern English language for its specific linguistic features. Nowadays, with the rapid development of science and technology and more frequent international communication, the dedicated research on EST will have very practical significance for the compilation of English textbook and teaching EST in college of science and engineering. The paper mainly focuses on the tentative exploration of EST in terms of lexical and grammatical features.
