摘要
以醋酸乙烯酯(VAC)、丙烯酸丁酯(BA)、N-羟甲基丙烯酸酰胺(NMA)和丙烯酸(AA)为单体,采用半连续乳液聚合方法制备了木材工业用四元乳液胶黏剂,其目的是提高乳液胶黏剂的胶合强度、耐水性及降低最低成膜温度。采用透射电镜、差式扫描量热仪和傅立叶红外光谱仪等对制备的共聚与均聚乳液胶黏剂的粒径、乳胶粒分布、玻璃化转变温度及乳液聚合物的聚合情况进行了分析,结果表明:与均聚乳液相比,四元共聚乳液乳胶粒的粒径适当、分布均匀,玻璃化转变温度由均聚乳液的20.92℃降至1.88℃,其傅立叶红外光谱图未出现丙烯酸丁酯及醋酸乙烯酯的C=C键特征峰,说明在乳液共聚过程中双键聚合较为彻底,产物呈现共聚物结构;性能检测结果表明:加入功能单体改性的共聚乳液与未改性的均聚乳液相比,乳液胶黏剂的胶合强度、耐水性都有较大程度的改善。
In order to improve the properties of PVAC(increasing its bonding strength、water resistance and decreasing the minimum film forming temperature),the authors of this paper took VAC,BA,NMA,and AA as monomers to prepare a new kind of wood emulsion adhesive by semi-continuous emulsion polymerization. Also,particle size,particle distribution,glass transition temperature of both polymerized and copolymerized emulsion were analyzed by TEM,DSC,and FTIR.The result indicated that:in contrast with PVAC,the particle size in copolymerized emulsion was appropriate,its particle distribution was in a balanced way,the glass transition temperature was decreased from 20.92℃(PVAC)to 1.88℃(copolymerized emulsion),and it could be seen in FTIR spectrum of copolymerized emulsion that key characteristic peak of C=C was not existent,which means the double bond had polymerized thoroughly in the course of polymerization.The performance test result indicated the copolymerized emulsion,in which some modified monomers were added in copolymerization process,had higher bonding strength and water resistance than PVAC.
