摘要
针对复杂背景的车牌定位问题,提出了一种基于形态学的车牌定位算法。数学形态学是一种应用于图像处理和模式识别领域的新的方法,其基本思想是用具有一定形态的结构元素去度量和提取图像中的对应形状以达到对图像分析和识别的目的。
In order to solve the problem of vehicle license plate location in the complicated present situation,this paper proposes an algorithm based on mathematical morphology.Mathematical morphology is a new method which is used in the fields of image processing and pattern recognition.And its main purpose is to measure and extract corresponding shapes of images by making use of their structuring elements so as to analyze and recognize the images.
