摘要 提出一种基于能量滤波和小波的车牌定位方法。根据车牌在水平方向能量高且集中的特点构造能量函数,并将沿垂直方向变化的能量反映到投影图上,能量滤波后获取车牌的大致位置。再由小波分析获取车牌的水平细节图像和垂直细节图像,然后利用形态学对小波分解后的细节图像进行一系列处理,进一步消除无用信息和噪声,最后由投影法准确确定车牌位置。实验结果表明,定位准确率为96.2%,平均定位时间为3.62 s。 A location method of vehicle license plate based on the energy filter principle and wavelet is presented. The energy function is constructed according to the high and concentrated energy in the horizontal direction,and the variance of the energy in the vertical direction is reflected to the projection. The vehicle license plate image is roughly located by energy filter. The details of the horizontal components and the vertical components are obtained from the frequency information with wavelet analysis. Then the detail image is analyzed by a series of morphological operations,the noise in these edge components can be greatly decreased. Finally the license plates can be accurately located by the projective method. The experimental results show that the accuracy of vehicle license plate location is about 96.2% ,and it only needs about 3.62 s.
