摘要
分析了京九铁路对鄂东地区经济发展的影响，提出了该区产业发展的总体思路．在分析京九湖北沿线区域经济特点的基础上，认为京九铁路开通有利于改善该区交通状况，发挥中心城市武汉的龙头作用，可以进行产业调整，采用高新技术，以市场需求为导向，大力发展鄂东地区基础工业、大农业和仓储、旅游业．
This paper analyses the influence of the Railway from Beijing to Jiulongon the economy of Eastern Hubei Province and makes suggestions for the develop-ment of its major industries. The railway has greatly improved the transportationsituation in this area, and is favourable to the center city-Wuhan to play domi-nant roles in economy development. It is suggested that for the industrial develop-ment in Eastern Hubei Province, market direction be used, advanced techniques beadopted, and basic industry, agriculture, storage and tourism be developed exten-sively.
