摘要
学习共享空间是信息共享空间发展到新阶段的产物,其目标是通过协作的方式,多方面地为学习者的知识创造提供更快更准确的学习支持以及一体化的信息服务。文章从公共图书馆应负有的社会责任角度,结合与大学图书馆在开展学习共享空间方面的对比分析,来探讨公共图书馆构建学习共享空间的必要性、可行性,并提出相应的构建模式与构建策略。
Learning Commons is a new service model originated from Information Commons,which aims at offering more quickly and more accurate learning support and integrative information service from multiple aspects in cooperative way for readers' studies,research and knowledge creation.This paper probes into the necessity and feasibility of public libraries opening up learning commons based on the research of that in academic libraries,and based on the social responsibilities public libraries bound to have.The corresponding construction model and strategies of LC in public libraries are also discussed.
