摘要
快速金属模具制造是一种新的模具制造技术，它是将快速成形技术ＲＰＭ应用到模具制造中的结果，受到工业界的高度重视。讨论了快速原型到金属模具的转换技术。不同的金属模具应使用不同的精密铸造方法。
Rapid metal die manufacturing, a new die making technology, resulted from the application of RPM to producing dies, has attracted much attention. This paper is focused on the technique of converting rapid prototyping to metal dies. Depending on different metal dies, different precision casting processes have to be used.
