摘要
翻译是信息和文化交流的过程。翻译过程中由于译者、语际差异、文化差异的因素,在译文中会出现信息不对等的情况。通过《在亚当之前》的译文的抽样调查,证明"明晰化"是译者在翻译实践中,通过对原文文本中隐含的信息进行显化或在译文中通过结构的调整、信息的补偿,从而实现信息的对等。
Translation is the communication of information and culture. Because of the involvement of such factors as translator, intralanguge differences and culture differences, it is of no doubt that there will be some discrepancies between translation and the original text. By analyzing the translation of Before Adam, it is argued in this paper that explicitaion is an effective method to compensate for the loss of information and hence achieve equivalence. It also exemplifies means of explicitation.
