摘要
本文以"黑客、红客、极客、博客、威客和闪客"这样一组流行的汉语网络新词语为例,从认知语言学的视角探讨汉语复合词的在线意义建构。研究发现,流行的网络新词语通常只具有两个共同特征"简短"和"新奇",而不是Paul McFedries所说的4个;网络新词语的在线意义建构机制是概念整合。汉语网络复合词"x客"不仅可以表示某类网民,而且可以通过激活"施事-动作-结果"认知框架转喻"结果",甚至转喻"造成该结果的行为动作"本身。
Taking such a group of Chinese net-words as "黑客、红客、极客、博客、威客 and 闪客" as examples, this paper tries to explore the on-line meaning construction of Chinese compounds from a cognitive perspective. It argues that the popular new networds usually acquire only two features, short and original, instead of four proposed by Paul McFedries and the mechanism for the on-line meaning construction of new net-words is conceptual blending. The Chinese net-compound "x 客" can not only denote some type of netizens, but also metonymically stands for "THE RESULT" or even "THE ACTION LEADING TO THE RESULT through the activation of the cognitive schema AGENT-ACTION-RESULT.
