Investigation on Microstructures of Rapidly Solidified Mg-6wt.%Zn Alloy Prepared by Atomization-twin Rolls Quenching Technology

摘要 采用雾化-双辊急冷法成功制备了快速凝固Mg-6Zn合金薄片,并利用扫描电子显微镜、X射线衍射仪、差示扫描分析和透射电子显微镜对该合金的微观组织和物相种类进行了分析。结果表明,快速凝固Mg-6Zn合金具有细小的等轴晶组织,其相组成为α-Mg和Mg51Zn20,以及少量的MgZn2和Mg2Zn3;与铸态合金相比,合金的微观组织显著细化,同时合金中存在一定数量的位错。 The atomization-twin rolls quenching technology is utilized to successfully prepare the rapidly solidified Mg - 6wt. % Zn alloy in the form of flakes, and the microstructures and phase constitutions of the alloy are investigated by scanning electron microscope, X-rdy diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry and transmission electron microscopy. The results suggest that the rapidly solidified Mg - 6Zn alloy is characteristic of fine equiaxed grains, the phase constituent of the alloy is composed of supersaturate solid solution phase α-Mg, Mg51Zn20 and a small quantity of MgZn2 and Mg2Zn3. The microstructures of the alloy are significantly refined with the atomization-twin rolls quenching technology and some dislocations can also be observed in the alloy.
