A new method for determination of 5 HT with Nafion modified electrode is described in this paper. The ion exhcange selectivity coefficient, the apparent diffusion coefficient and the distribution cofficient are calculated based on data from several experiments, which are 1 49×10 3, 1 29×10 -10 (cm 2/s), 1 81×10 4, respectively. Meanwhile, an example is also given by analysis of 5 HT in rabbit brain, the result is satisfactory.
