摘要
“禹荥泽”是指记载于我国最早地理学专著《禹贡》中的分布于今荥阳地区的一个古湖泊，距今约7000—3000年。由于《禹贡》的有关记载过于简略，时间又久远，所以，后世文献中关于荥泽的地理位置、存在时代、产生与消亡原因，众说纷纭，莫衷一是。根据2年多来的野外实地调查成果，从地质、地理和水文角度论证了禹荥泽的存在、产生条件、赋存环境和地理位置，并将它和《禹贡》之后历史文件中出现的荥泽作了多方面对比，厘清了两者之间的本质差别。
＂Yu Xingze＂ is one of the ancient lakes documented in the earliest geography monograph ＂Yu Gong＂ of China, existed in Xingyang area 7000 -3000 years ago. However, due to the excessively brief relevant records in 《Yu Gong》 and the too remote times, later literatures have the divergent views on the Xingze＇ s location, times and the reasons for its generation and disappearance, with. no consensus among people. Based on the field investigation achievements for more than two years, this article demonstrated the existence and producing conditions of Yu Xingze, existing environments and its geographical location from the perspectives of geology, hydrology, and then made various contrasts with the Xingze described in the historical literature after 《Yu Gong》, and finally clarified the essential differences between them.
