摘要
本文在简要阐述有关高等教育质量保证概念的基础上,从质量保证的主体、目的、对象、指标或标准以及实施层面等五个方面入手,对近年来美、英、欧盟主要国家以及日本的变化趋势和特点进行考察,并对如何构建具有中国特色的高等教育质量保证体系提出几点建议。
This article is mainly concerned the major patterns and trends of higher education quality assurance frameworks since the 1990s.By analyzing some typical frameworks for quality assurance in selected countries such as UK,some Continental European nations, the US,and Japan,this study attempts to identify both general and international similarities and striking differences across individual regions or countries,to explore how these regions or countries adopted relevant policies and built up quality assurance frameworks as responses to the impacts related to internationalization and globalization. Based on these comparisons,the article also touches on some issues concerning the existing quality assurance system in China and considers what efforts need to be made in order to improving China's quality assurance system for higher education.
