摘要
本文扼要介绍了甲壳素和壳聚糖的性质、研究概况和主要用途，着重论述了甲壳素和壳聚糖在农业和林业中的应用情况，分析了甲壳素和壳聚糖在林业中的潜在应用前景，指出安全无毒且对环境无公害的天然高分子壳聚糖和甲壳素在林木种子处理、森林土壤改良、森林病虫害防治、水果保鲜和木材工业中均有很光明的应用前景。
Abstract Chitin is one of the natural and renewable polymer which has many good characteristics and captured the attention of many researchers in recent years. Chitin and its derivatives such as Chitosan can be used in many industrial and agricultural fields. The properties, research progress and main uses of chitin and Chitosan were briefly introduced. The application of chitin and Chitosan in forestry and agriculture was discussed. The potential application fields of chitin and Chitosan in forestry were analyzed it is shoued that chitin and Chitosan could be applied in tree seed treatment, forest soil modification, forest insect and disease control, fruit fresh keeping, wood industry and so on.
