摘要
本文根据青藏高原周边及内部地区磁性地层序列的对比、分析,探讨了由此所记录的高原隆升的过程及特征,指出高原南、北两缘地区地层沉积特征真正的同步开始于上新世之后,说明高原整体性的降升即始于此时,同时本文还对高原隆升的阶段、特征及高度等问题进行了评述.大量的磁性地层的对比对全面深入地了解青藏高原隆升的过程及特征具有重要意义.
On the basis of magneto-stratigraphical comparison along the fringe area of Qinhai-Xizang(Tibet) plateau, this paper has inquired into the processes and features of uplift ofthis Plateau. one of the most important geologic phenomana is the uplift of Tibeteanplateau during Cenozoic period, which is generally regarded as the 'trigger' of the envi-ronment and climate of east Asia. Further and systematic study the on formation and de-velopment of the natural environment plays veru important role in explaining the presentsituation of geographical environment and predicting its future evolution scientifically. Theprocess and features of this plateau's uplift was recorded by various geologic records, forexample the sedimentary stratigraphies along the plateau is just one of important aspectsfor further understanding this problem. So, undoubtfully, it is valuable to. probe into thisproblem by means of comparison among the typical sedimentary stratigraphies along theplateau. Based on these, the paper focuses on the latest study results of the Cenozoic sedi-ment and Huanghe terrace series obtained in Linxia and Lanzhou basins, which locates atthe northeastern fringe of Tibetaean plateau and the famous Siwalik Group studied inSouth Asia, has inquired into the process and features of this plateau's uplifts, and pointsout that the real synchronism of sedimentary records of stratigraph is began at baout 5.3Ma BP, that's to say, the uplift of the whole plateau just commenced at that time. Theproblem of the stages and elevation at different times of this plateau are also evaluated,since Pliocene, the uplifting amplitude is huge, for instance, it ammouts to about 1000meters totally in Lanzhou basin, and the pulsating upheavels resulted in the formation ofseven terraces of Huanghe river.
